    Thanks for your feedback!

    Small town joy

I love the town of Legend, Tennessee. I have just reread the original two anthologies, sadly apparently no longer in that format, but a wonderful, chronological introduction to the characters (in both senses of the word) who people this fictitious town. I then had the chance to read THE HOLLY AND THE IVY and UNDER THE MISTLETOE, alas in the wrong order! In this book I was very pleased to make the acquaintance of Anne again and to see where that bright teenager went. It's also a pleasure to be around the familiar ladies of Legend; I hadn't realised the Emporium was on the site of Jim Bob's bar where Dorothy met Charles in UTM. Great story and nice to reflect on more mature heroines. Thank you.
