The first in the Star Svensdotter books. To be honest I wasn't sure I'd like this book but I have been pleasantly surprised. It is a very good read and I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this tale to the serious sci-fi reader and the casual reader. It is equal to Heinlein and Asimov. The next book in the series should prove to bbr ad interesting - I hope. The historical stage is dated but then it was written in the early 90's. Enjoy if you select this one. I certainly ydid

I am a treki. I have to admit this book gives us a spin of the in between time frame of Earth; to a small space station we have now and the before First star on the right and straight on till morning...Engage!!! As I said I am a treki and space stories have fascinated me since Buck Rogers, Lost in Space, and The Jetsons and I look forward to the next story with Star Svensdotter.
