    A heartbreaking stry

It's just as well Mitch Morgan is already dead. He has done so much damage to so many people, including his own family, that a death by natural causes was much too kind to him. Victoria is one of his victims, and when she finds that the child she believed dead is actually alive, it takes all her resourcefulness to gain access to her daughter. Colt is one of the few people who stood up to Mitch Morgan, but he too paid a heavy price. Victoria and Colt have so much controversy and so many lies to work through, that it is a wonder that they can even be in the same room at the same time, let alone allow themselves to consider their daughter's happiness. This story was heartbreaking, however truth prevails and brings healing in its wake. I experienced so many emotions while reading this book, and was glad that bit by bit the Morgan heirs and their loved ones could see beyond the evil mastermind and realise that sins of the father could be rectified by the children. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

    Second Chance Romance

“Secret Baby” by Victoria Pinder is book number two in the “House of Morgan Book” series. This is Victoria “Vicki” Morgan and Colt Collins' story. Vicki gave birth to a baby girl five years ago. She was told that her baby died. Vicki faked her death so that she could get out from under her dad's harsh control. Vicki surprised everyone when she showed up for her dad's funeral. But then Vicki and Colt were shocked when more secrets and lies come out. I enjoyed this story. It is a sweet, heartwarming, and at times a heart-wrenching story where lies and deceit caused major consequences in Colt, Vicki, and their little girl’s lives. The reader could feel the different emotions that Colt and Vicki experienced in working through all the lies and secrets. Will Colt and Vicki find their happily ever after? FYI, includes mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A five-star review on The House of Morgan 2 Secret

Although I read this book in the House of Morgan 1-3 Collection I think it deserves to have a review on its own. Victoria disappears one day and has being thought dead since then because her father faked a funeral so anybody could know the truth behind Victoria’s disappearance. When her father died, Victoria returns home and she finds out that her dear baby who she thought dead is kicking and alive. Colt has always taken care of his daughter with the help of his parents and sister. Now with Victoria’s return, everything is going to change. This is absolutely my favourite of the four books I read so far in this series. I like all the characters: Colt honest and caring, Victoria so focus on her daughter and little Clara so into joining her parents. She is quite a character: really stubborn and with her ideas totally clear. She knows what she wants and how to get answers to her questions without really being answered, just reading between the lines. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this book.
