    A good read

Illicit affairs, failed romances, and millionaires; everything you need to steam up the pages. That's what you get with Victoria Pinder's latest release, Secret Heir. There's tons of attraction between Tess and Mitch from the very moment they meet. There's little time to court as they dive headfirst into a relationship over a funeral and a potential merger. That attraction is so strong from the beginning it had me concerned that the story would lose its believability. That type of attraction rarely occurs in real life. But the characters were well written and the story keeps you guessing with all the twists and turns, keeping the believability factor high. I was hoping for a little more conflict when the two matrons of the House of Morgan meet. It just seemed that there were so many issues that they would be in disagreement over. Yet, everything works out and the HEA is good. It's also what I describe as a "clean" romance in that there are almost no descriptions of sexual activity amongst the main characters. After reading so many books that are explicit in the descriptions of sexual activity, it's a refreshing change to read a romance with all the heat but implied action. Secret Heir is a good read and I enjoyed it very much. Rating: 4 stars

    A MUST READ ! ! !

OMG, no normal person wants to live voluntarily in connection with "The House of Morgan", however Mitch Morgan III, his 3 brothers, his sister and Mother (the illegitimate Family from a long-term affair) had no choice. They suffered from their tyrannical, ice-cold and power-moved father. The boys and mom was told that the sister is dead and the daughter was told her mom and brothers were dad. How cruel is that !?! The story is well-written, full of intrigues, lies, shocking twists and turns and of course love. You'll take the well-developed and engaging characters direct into your hearts. Victoria Pinder has it again created to enthrall me and I couldn't put the book down until the last word. So go ahead, grab this book and let the story give You a relaxed reading time. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book for a honest review.

Great Addition To The House Of Morgan Series

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT: In Secret Heir, the reader finds Mitch Morgan III, born on the wrong side of the blanket, and Tess Taylor, an employee of The House Of Morgan. Mitch was born from a long-term affair between his mother and Mitchell Morgan II. I felt so sorry for Mitch; he's a man who does not understand that love does not have to hurt. After seeing the hurt, pain, and humiliation his mother suffered, to say he has relationship issues is an understatement. Then you had Tess, vulnerable, insecure, and determined never to fail again. Tess found herself fired and losing her fiance, Kevin, on the same day. Kevin told her she is a failure and his name could not be linked to her inability. He walked out of her life leaving her heart broken. With her heart torn and her failure fresh, her mother gets her a job with Peter Morgan. Peter's from the legitimate side of Mitchell Morgan II's family. Tess receives a critical assignment, and she knows failure is not an option. Meanwhile, Mitch is determined to achieve revenge on the legitimate Morgans by cold-blooded use of Tess. However, fate has other plans for Mitch and Tess. Oh my, the family dynamics of this story are awesome and terrible. Two separate families, born from the same selfish man; with one family legitimate and one illegitimate. The products of an evilly greedy man who thought only of himself; he's willing to do any despicable act to keep each family. He's a man and father beyond contempt. Victoria Pinder kept the emotions and suspense at a high peak, as Mitch and Tess begin an emotionally intense relationship. The attraction between them steams and rolls off the pages. Although the love scenes are not erotic or explicit, they are very passionate and emotional. Pinder skillfully developed each character in Secret Heir and provided an intriguing mystery with a startling revelation. Pinder filled this story with emotion, mystery, and suspense. I found her scenes transitioned smoothly and her writing flowed well. Pinder included a wealth of family dynamics and an unbelievable antic by one character. Pinder kept me glued to my E-reader; I read this book straight through. The reader learns more and more background in each book of the Morgan Families. Secret Heir is an excellent addition to The House of Morgan Series. I received this book from the author and chose to review the book with an honest book review voluntarily.
