  • Fun & Emotional Friends to Lovers Romance!

What a sweet, emotional, and steamy, friends-to-lovers romance! Ginny had made plans to start college with her boyfriend, except he had other plans. Now she is trying hard to make friends and find a direction she never considered before. He brother is a senior and the captain of the hockey team. He wants to protect his sister and includes her in all his activities. Heath is his roommate and teammate. He is attracted to Ginny right off but bro code makes him hold back. He and Ginny become friends and have fun together. But soon neither can deny the fiery attraction and chemistry heating up between them. But with so much on the line, can Heath risk his friendship with Ginny and her brother if things don't work out? I really loved Heath, he was so charming, kind and caring. He really cared about his friends and teammates and was so sweet with Ginny. I loved Ginny's growth from lost in the beginning to a strong, confident young woman. She and Heath were so much fun together. I also love all his teammates who were funny, supportive and loyal, I can't wait to find out more about them! What a great start this new Campus Nights series!

  • Loved it

5 star review Secret Puck (Campus Nights #1)by Rebecca Jenshak I know that this is going to be hard to believe but this is the first book I have read by Rebecca Jenshak. If this book is anything to go by I will be looking into her other books as soon as time permits. This booked ticked the boxes for me. Secret Puck was well written, with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. This was an entertaining read that had me riveted from the first to the last chapter in Heath and Ginny’s story. I found the characters had a great deal of depth and I really liked them. The journey that they travel to get their happily ever has only wet my appetite to read more from this author. I am excited to see what she has in store for this series.

  • Back to Valley with the hottest guy on campus

Ya’ll this is Heath aka Baby Payne, Nathan’s little brother from The Fake. If you haven’t read that book, then do it...scratch that, read the whole series because it’s one of my favorites. This book takes us back to the Valley campus...but with hockey players *wags eyebrows*. Heath and Ginny meet in the campus cafeteria line, romantic enough for me...love my food. Then about a hot second later, they find out who each of them are, her being the little sister of his hockey teams Captain. Her brother ask Heath to watch out for her, and he definitely does, deflecting potential dates....cracked me up seeing him get all worked up. I love their interactions with each other, they are very attracted to each other, but start as friends. Adored their friendship, they spend so much time together, with a nice slow burn, all the while teasing and flirting with each other. They were so funny together, Heath has always been that way, but he raises his game in this one. He actually put himself in her phone as Hottest guy on campus, and their text had me laughing so hard. Safe read with a sexy af hockey player, his sweet girl and some crazy hot chemistry. I know, right...there was some hot moments for sure. I love that we get to go back to the Valley campus, The White House, and we get to read some of our favorites from The Smart Jock series and from Sweet Spot. She took us back and she did a fantastic job of intertwining everyone. Lots of college shenanigans, with a bunch of guys being guys, and so many laughs. Plenty of new favorite characters, including her besties, Dakota and Reagan. A few shocks, and oh wow, ok moments. There were also some heartfelt moments, and I will never listen to a Mariah Carey song the same way again, for multiple reasons. As always a great storyline. Rebecca Jenshak thank you for taking me back to one of my favorite campuses and my favorite book worlds.

  • Secret Puck

Life is short. Be happy and enjoy every moment. Secret Puck is my first Rebecca Jenshak book and it will not be my last. I enjoyed the relationship growth between Heath and Ginny. Ginny is starting college on her own and her brother Adam helps her out by introducing her to a bunch of his friends and teammates who welcome her with open arms. Heath is attracted to Ginny but her brother has warned the team to stay away. Only after trying to be friends for a while, their attraction becomes too much to ignore but just as their relationship starts to bloom things take a turn. I enjoyed that Heath and Ginny started their relationship as friends, moved into a relationship and then eventually helped each other grow and come to realize their meaning of love. I liked a lot of the side characters and can not wait to see who gets their own stories. Joe Arden did a great job as always bringing life to Heath. Vanessa Edwin did a great job bringing Ginny to life and making her sound like the sweet and innocent girl that she seemed to be.
