    Awesome read!

Seduced by Jess Michaels is the exciting conclusion to "The Wicked Woodleys", Book 5 of the series, but can be read as a stand alone. The Woodleys is a magnificent, but flawed family who stand by their own through better or worst. Captain Jack aka Jack Blackwood, whose the king of the underworld, is also Claire's Brother-in-law, and the brother of Warrick, Claire's new husband. Jack has become melancholy in his lifestyle and looking for more. Enter, Lady Letitia Seagate, Claire 's widowed cousin. Who has also become stead in her life, she’s thinking of taking a lover. Jack is handsome, steady, sexy and dangerous. Jack's story was everything I hoped it would be, I wasn't disappointed. Fast paced tale, filled with secrets, betrayal, danger, mystery, suspense, steamy, hot passion, flawed characters and Second chances. But does Jack have a chance for redemption, and finding the light in his darkness, thru Letitia? Can Letitia find her HEA and the love of a lifetime, if they survive the dangers ahead? Once again, Ms. Michaels has a well written tale, with flawed characters, and passionate kisses. A masterfully written tale of love, redemption, finding a family and a HEA. I have thoughly enjoyed this series and highly recommend it to fans of steamy, dangerous and flawed characters, Historical Romance and awesome storytelling. A must read! Saddened to see this exciting, wicked series end, but looking forward to the next adventure. Enjoyable and a very satisfying read! Received for an honest review from Net Galley. My infatuation with Jess Michaels stems from the fact that she does not just write stories that go beyond pushing the envelope. She creates strong female characters that are willing to risk everything to protect the ones they love. Seduced is a story of betrayal, lust and courage. Letty is hell on wheels, Jack is sex on a stick. With the odds not working in their favor, a middle ground has to be found to explore the all consuming attraction between these two characters. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. These characters bring out strong emotions in each other and that is what makes Seduced an engrossing read.

    Fun Story

A solid read in the genre, although possibly a few too many Americanisms and moments of modern speech for purists. I enjoyed the good girl/bad boy theme but did wonder if the story wandered a little into the realm of the ridiculous with Jack's frequent references to his ruling 'the underground' and calling his gang HQ his 'lair'. The seduction alluded to in the title doesn't seem such a big part of the plot, with neither hero nor heroine requiring copious amounts of persuasion. While it wasn't a very deep tale, it has been a fun and easy read. It's part of a series, but I don't feel I needed to read the previous books, so it works very well as a stand-alone story. I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
