    Fantastic

Fantastic book! This author has an amazing way of packing a whole lot of story into a book of this length. Her writing style is very enjoyable and the characters are all well developed and truly come to life through the pages. Colt Ewing never wanted to return to Marietta but for his high school football coach he'd do it. A quick in and out of the town he couldn't get away from fast enough. When he arrives though he finds out he's been signed up to participate in the towns fundraising bachelor auction so he's stuck. The surprises have only begun for Colt though! Talon Reese has finally found her home in Marietta. She loves everything about the small town and knows this is the place she wants to raise her son Parker. After bouncing around the foster care system home and family are the one thing she craves. When her meddling friends bid on the obvious bad boy bachelor for her, she knows her world is about to be turned up side down. She has no idea how much! These characters were fantastic. Talon helps soften all the rough edges of Colt and she and Parker help Colt see what more life could offer if he can put his past behind him and start living for the future. This is a fantastic book and one I highly recommend.

    good

good book but it has a number of flaws. the plot is ok, and the main girl is likable but not terribly well developed. the main guy is not my favorite type- very stoic, masculine, barley speaks, bossy, but will speak to people who like that type. the biggest problem is it is obviously part of a larger series and it leaves a lot off plot threads open and things just left hanging. maybe if you want to read the whole series it would be more enjoyable.

    Loved it!!!

A great addition to Bachelor Auctions!! Colt has returned home briefly to Marietta to help out his football coach from high school, not knowing he was going to be put up for auction. There is an instant attraction between Talon and Colt, can she and her son, Parker help Colt leave his past demons behind him and find a new future in Marietta. Loved these characters!! A novella that is packed full of emotion that you don't want to see end.

    Wonderful Contemporary Romance

Blew me away – loved this story! Colt Ewing is a book boyfriend everyone should meet! He is perfect in so many ways and yet also a bit damaged from his childhood and time as an army ranger. When he is auctioned off and given as a gift to Talon Reese by her friends it is an interesting situation for both of them. There is instant attraction BUT Talon is the mother of Parker and needs to put his needs first AND she just happens to be living on the ranch that has horrible memories for Colt. The month of leave that Colt has is spent on the ranch getting to know Parker and Talon better. The return to army life is not easy for any of them and the question remains whether or not he will return to Talon and Parker or re-up with the army. This story really made me feel. I felt for both Talon and Colt when they were children. I applauded Talon and Colt for finding ways to overcome their childhoods. I loved the interactions between Talon and Colt and the way Colt interacted with Parker. I guess it is becoming obvious I loved this story. I have HEARD that Colt shows up in another book about the Wilder brothers and hope to find out what he is up to when I read it. Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the copy of this ARC. This is my honest review.

    Seducing the Bachelor

Great story of how love wins over even the most reluctant of men! I cried like a baby when Colt told his story and again when he came back.
