Loved this book, and this series!!!

**Received ARC from Booksprout for a fair and honest review** Seeing with the Heart is part of the Kindred series and can be read as a standalone. While there are characters from previous books that do come up, I always think it's best to read the books in order. The author does a great job of ensuring you know who and what everything is in case you haven't read the other books. I loved this book and couldn't put it down. The author has such interesting storylines, it's not all barbie type women that you read about either. Dr. Molly Reynaud lost her vision tragically in a car accident that killed her family. Traumatized at first by the loss of her sight at 16, she worked hard to get past it and went on to become a Cultural Anthropologist. Now she's ecstatic she's got the opportunity of a lifetime to go a another planet and study their culture. Commander Braxx hasn't had the easiest life either. While on a ship they crashed and Commander Braxx lost his brother, and his betrothed decided to walk out on him. Scarred and bitter he doesn't think anyone will ever want him with his horrific scarring. This book was very difficult to put down. I really enjoyed the characters, their chemistry, and the storyline. Molly's character, her caring, kindness and strength really appealed to me. The author does a great job of really getting across the trials that someone without sight faces. I have a friend that lost her sight and it really felt like the author did her homework for this character. I really enjoy this series tremendously and can't wait for the next book in the series! Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!

Fantastic addition to the Kindred Brides series!

Another great addition to the Kindred Brides series. Evangeline has a way of catching your attention and keeping you enthralled with the story. Each book in the series is different and this is no different. With each of these characters having their own physical issues, they're more realistic in some ways. This is definitely another that I'll be recommending to my friends and family. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book. Braxx having the scars on his face, and his heart, makes him someone you want to wrap up in your arms and hold him, but he's definitely made just for Molly. Although she's blind, she's so in tune with everything and having lost her sight in her teen years, she's able to visualize what's being described to her better than someone who's never seen colors, shapes, or sizes. Molly has fallen for Braxx, but when things get to close for Him, he runs without any type of explanation. Where usually I'd want to smack him up side the head, this time I can kind of understand his reasoning. Molly is a determined soul though and they finally get their HEA.

    A respectfully written heroine, thanks.

Really enjoyed this visit into the Kindred world. I especially liked how she wrote a challenged yet strong heroine. The hero's reaction to her being left out of the draft was all it SHOULD have been, but is commonly not. She was independant, but not too proud to accept help when necessary. One's ability to love and be loved should not be determined by physical (or emotional) challenges. Ms. Anderson has written an entertaining yet respectful tale. Not everything that can hold a person back is evident on their out-side as evidenced during the race for Molly. Thank you **I received a free copy of this book (read using samsung voice-read for impsired readers) via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Finding their way in the darkness

What an amazing story. This is probably one that I find a little more dear to my heart. This was about two souls that were trying to find their way. Molly was one that had excepted who she was but I have to say I feel like she felt love was not for her. For who wanted a blind person, well at least in my eyes that is what Molly thought. Braxx well he was damaged in more ways then one and the pain he carried will just break you heart. I just loved Molly. She was this sexy curvy woman. She had so many challenges in life. She was blind. I loved that we got to see some of the struggles that blind people goes through. I personally know due to having a blind friend and find myself asking her questions all the time. So many times we take things for granted and I think this book shows the little thing in life that can be a struggle for some and be taken for great by others. Braxx is a beast Kindred. Hello, how sexy is that. Braxx was so perfect for her. Braxx knew what it was like to fell unworthy of love. Braxx also knew what it was like to have felt loss. Molly had lost her parents and her sight at the same time. Braxx had lost his brother and gained physical and emotional scares. The goddess has plans for these two and at times you might be worried if things will work out. I love that these two are automatically attracted to each other. Braxx will do what every he needs to do to protect her. That is one thing I love about the Kindred is that they are protect of their females even before they realize that female belongs to them. This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
