Treat yourself to a great read!

Take some time for yourself and read this book. It is a book all “middle agers” will understand and appreciate. Miji Campbell writes with clarity and a unique sense of humor. An exceptional read; I am still thinking about it long after the last word was read.

    Hard to put down!

A thoughtful and in-depth account of growing up in the 60's and 70's in Western Canada. The author was funny and frank about her family relationships and about her struggles with anxiety and with finding inner peace. A great read with humorous, clever language - a baby boomer's must buy!

    Separation Anxiety

Insightful and accurate, Miji's descriptions of her childhood surroundings brought back many happy memories of my own childhood, as well as the struggles of juggling teaching, family and anxiety.

    Search for safety

Miji Campbell describes in rich, funny and fond detail, the safety and security of life in a 1960s Calgary suburb, and her own struggle to find or create that same safety in her adult life. It is a very personal book, told openly and honestly. Many will recognize their own childhood and many will relate to the fear and frustrations of seeking the ideal life.
