    Thanks for your feedback!

When a story opens with the main protagonist in jail, you hope for an exciting read. And this book keeps up the tension, never releasing its hold on you. Hence the five star-rating. Thea is a character that is fully formed and fallible. But we care about her because we identify with her struggle to be the good child/parent/partner. I found the development of her estranged daughter Sanusha very interesting - particularly her amazing mathematical ability. I can recommend this book for anybody that has troubled family relationships. It suggests there is hope, even after a terrible crime has been committed.
