  • Shane: Dragon's Savior Book 4

Oh Kathi you tease! The kind and queen of dragons have already set things in motion for each of their children. They have made sure that every person comes at the right time when necessary to help the family survive the upcoming obstacles that will fall in their paths. Lelani Wayne grew up listening how her mother and sister were hand picked by the king and queen to help them in their mission. She was treated literally as if she had nothing to give to her family, so she left when she could to get away from the problems her sister seemed to get into. Shane and Keion are working hard with their brothers and family to complete the castle. When they meet Lelani they know she is their mate, but she won't be an easy one to catch and love. They must also help to weed out the traitors on their own land that are working with The Herald (the group out to kill all the witches). I can't wait for when Sally wakes up and can meet all the newest members of their family. She seems to be the rock for the whole family, and yet you can feel as if there is a hole in the heart of the family because she still hasn't come back to them.

  • an exciting addition to a spellbinding series

'Shane' is book four in Kathi S. Barton's "Dragon's Savior" series. Mary Wayne and her unborn child were being burned at the stake for being a practicing witch, at least that's what Rohm Michael Herald had convinced his congregation of. In reality, she was due to have the illegitimate child she carried from his only son Michael who was married. There are several things to know about Mary. 1) Neither fully good nor bad, Mary is actually a witch, and 2) She is the first piece of the elaborate plan King Anthony and Queen Eve are putting together to save not only their sons but the entire dragon kingdom. The King and Queen have promised Mary if she were to follow their rules and stay within the area they had protected she would be safe and well-compensated BUT she was to teach her daughter and any other she had after how to use the magic and keep them protected as well. Mary had no idea she was to have twins nor did she know that it was the second child, Lelani, who would become the most powerful Queen of the Witches and mate to two men, one of which was a dragon. Of course, the Herald group is involved again, or should I say still and they make plans to take out the witches. The castle is continuing to be rebuilt and Lelani has informed them someone is coming but who and when hasn't been revealed yet. It's an exciting addition to a spellbinding series that continues to leave me wanting more.
