    Thanks for your feedback!

Despite the poor links between this novel and the previous one (chronologically) - we can read how Sharpe got his trousers and boots from a unknown chasseur but there were no mention about Santiago de Compostela, Blas Vivar and Miss Parker, the Spanish Cazadores, etc. - the book is awesome! This is the first book that I read from Cornwell with short chapters and they did not disappoint. It is incredible to read about the Peninsula wars through this novel because the history become alive; not only in this book, Cornwell gives life to customs, religion, etc.
