    Thanks for your feedback!

    You don't need every answer

I know many people who might get frustrated over the lack of explanations. We don't really know what kind of disaster struck. We don't know anything about the Round-Up Committees that look for survivors; we don't know who makes up these crews or why they look only during certain times of day. The only living creatures we know anything about are Josh, Shannon, and her dog Max. Even then, we get only glimpses. We don't know much about their past; pretty much everything we learn about them occurs in the present. Now that I think about it, that seems fitting because if we found ourselves in such a dangerous post-apocalyptic world, living in the moment is exactly what we'd have to do if we wanted to survive. There wouldn't be any time to sit around reminiscing; we'd need to be constantly scavenging for food and shelter. And of course, the lack of answers leaves us wanting more.
