    Family with love /hate Issues

I picked this book for my book club . It was a hit. I liked that the events were told only from the main characters perspective, which allowed the reader to discover events at the same time. The entire story revolved around the main character, Kyung's relationship and interactions with his family members. Although he was consumed with anger, pain and depression , you could not help being sympathetic towards him because of his estranged family. The book held my interest because of the family dynamics, and Kyung's inability to show affection and receive affection from those he really cared about. It took a horrific event to reunite the family and allow Kyung the emotion of forgiveness. I highly recommend this book. It was a good, easy read.
