Very Good Book – 5 Stars!

The following are my comments and views of the Susan Stoker book 'Shelter for Adeline'. Adeline is a strong yet vulnerable heroine who has epileptic seizures, and her lab Coco, is her service dog who alert’s Adeline when a seizure is coming. Dean "Crash" Christopherson the charismatic attentive hero is a sexy Firefighter, who comes to Adeline’s rescue. Their relationship throughout the entire story is so realistic that it made me laugh, cry and sigh loudly to the very last page. The day to day challenges, a sense of humor and heartfelt scenes gives them just enough time to get to know one another and the love between them is hot, the romance to die for. I fall in love with all of Susan’s characters and her portrayal of her men and women in uniform, law enforcement officers, and first responders, shows her feelings for what they do, and bringing awareness to the challenges they face. Her love of writing is what keeps me coming back to read her books over and over again. I think you will love this book as much as I did. I’m looking forward to reading more from Susan in the coming years. I will be buying a retail copy of this book on release day. ***ARC provided by the author for an honest review***

    Good read

Likeable characters. Likeable stories. And,as a much appreciated bonus, I don’t have to edit spelling and grammar along the way. All in all, a good read.

    Go Coco

Again Ms Stoker shows us that it's not just the pretty girl with the Barbie figure and the perfect life who gets the HEA. Here Adeline's epilepsy does not make her less of a woman in Dean/Crash's eyes and the relationship that develops between them is supported by all the characters who have appeared in the previous books in this series. Throw in someone with an unhealthy fixation on Adeline and you have one heck of a plotline. This is absolutely well worth reading.

Susan Stoker has done it again. This book is a must read! Shelter for Adeline is an excellent addition to an awesome series. I love how she has a knack to make the hero/heroine feel like friends. It was refreshing that they didn’t just fall into bed, you get to see Adeline’s insecurities with her illness, and Dean’s nervousness at asking her out. It allows us, as readers, to get to know the characters. The fact that her characters are like real people, with real problems, instead of an unattainable fantasy is just another thing that puts Susan Stoker at the top of my list of favorite authors. Shelter for Adeline is well written, funny, touching, and definitely a new favorite. I fell in love with Adeline, Dean and Chief in this book, I can’t wait to read the next installment!
