  • Loved Shannon and Declan

I love this book. It is super hilarious. Julia Kent’s humor reminds me of Dane Cook’s. It had me laughing so hard my sides hurt. I can’t wait to read what happens next with Shannon and Declan. Shannon and Declan meet in the most terribly embarrassing way. He finds her in the bathroom stall with her hand down the toilet trying to fish out her phone. Mortified by the whole experience and unable to tell the truth about why he found her there Shannon escapes as quickly as possible. Declan is left standing there wondering about the beautiful and mysterious toilet girl. Chance has them meeting again in another awkward encounter and Declan decides he’s not going to let Shannon get away. It’ll be tricky but he’ll find a way to persuade her to have dinner with him. *This story does end in cliffhanger but you don’t have to wait for the next books to come out and there is also a boxset available for books 1-5.

  • Charm, chemistry and wit are a trio combined that adds up to a great story!

This book reeled me in right from the start and I was hooked. LOL so much with the witty banter and comebacks. Loved the explosive chemistry and seeing the main characters realize things about each other as the layers get peeled back. Don't read in places where you have to remain quiet because it's tough trying to not laugh heartily. Loving this series so far. Brilliant job Julia Kent!

  • Good humor and relatable characters

The humor was on-point. I liked that Shannon was not drop-dead gorgeous - not how society dictates how women should look like which is typically having a coca-cola body. I liked that both protagonists have relatable traits. The stand out part is the banter between the two lead characters.

  • Such a blast!!!

I started this at about 3 am and laughed my way to the end. No sleep was had, just a great time and a whole lot of laughs. And tears, but again, that was from laughing 😂 (actually there’s one part I’m STILL laughing about anytime I think about it!) Shannon, to me, is perfection. She makes me laugh while just being herself. She’s also got a bit of fierceness & vulnerability to her that just makes her the total package. And Declan, what can I say? He had me the second he busted in to save her (you’ll see 😂). He sees her from the very beginning, her quirkiness, her heart, and he does all he can to get it, and ours. *Sigh* 😍 I cannot wait to jump into more with this couple

  • Shopping for a Billionaire 1

I really enjoyed this book, but I wanted more. The storyline is so cute and so common. Boyfriend dumps girl, finds someone he thinks is better, then wants her back when he sees she has moved on with someone else. Shannon and Declan compliment each other.
