    Excellent

Excellent read. This was a beautiful story of finding love in a place and with someone you've known all along but now you're looking at differently. Jace and Becca have known each other their whole lives. After all he is her sister's best friend. So what if Becca has had a crush on Jace for as long as she can remember. She'd never do anything to come between her sister and Jace and she's certain they will eventually end up together. Coming home for Christmas this year has Becca reevaluating her life and relationships and hoping for things she knows she can never have. Or can she? A recommended read.

Should've Been You by Nicole McLaughlin

Should’ve Been You by Nicole McLaughlin A sexy cowboy romance. Sweet in an “old crush” finally happens way. A couple of hot bedroom scenes and the happy ending you want. The epilogue adds the endearing ever after. 3rd in the series. Stands alone. Jase and Becca have known each other since their teenage years. While Becca has had a crush on Jase since their early years, it’s Hannah, her sister, who is best friends with Jase. Because of a lie, Jase thinks Becca doesn’t even like him. Time to get that all straightened out. As I was reading this book, I wondered about Hannah. Had I missed her story? Was she really that flighty? Did she tell that lie deliberately? Is she really in love with this band guy? Many of these questions are answered and she totally redeems herself, but I want to know she settles down too. I will have to watch for the next few books in this series. Bottom line - a feel good, comfy and easy romance. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley.

    Nicole McLaughlin Should’ve Been You

There was definitely chemistry between Jase and Becca but Becca’s twin put a wedge between them when they were very young. Will they be able to put the past behind them to move forward? The main characters were well fleshed, realistic and relatable main characters. The supporting characters were well written adding flavor to the story. This is intricately woven story that will delight and entertain the reader. A magical, heartwarming story!!! I volunteered to read Should’ve Been You. Thanks to St. Martin’s Press via Net Gallery for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.

    5 STAR Novella!!

I loved this story! Typically I prefer 350+ page books, but this novella did it right. It may have had a quick pace and resolution, but it was fantastically done. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it. Great hero and heroine, plausible conflict, and heart-tugging romance. Just a great story all-around. Should've been you is the third book in the Man Enough series, but I hadn't read the first two and I really didn't feel like I missed anything. I surmised that some of the secondary characters were previous H/h's from the first two books, but only because I knew there were two other stories. Nicole McLaughlin's writing is wonderfully compelling with engaging dialogue and an absorbing story arc. I've already purchased the previous books in the series and can't wait to experience more in this story world. (This is my voluntary and unbiased review of an advanced copy of Should've Been You via the publisher and Netgalley.)

He's looking at her with new eyes.

It has always been Hannah. Jase has always been attracted to Becca, Hannah's twin, but she didn't like him. He hasn't seen Becca for 5 years and now there she stands in a t-shirt and underwear. When they finally start talking, they find out that things aren't always what they seem. Hannah is now engaged and Becca and Jase are looking at each other with new eyes. Good story.
