    Silent Faces, Painted Ghosts

Excellent read. I really enjoyed the characters and the way the author drew together their separate stories and lives. Looking forward to reading Kathy Shukars next book.

    Really enjoyed it

Really enjoyed this book, read over a weekend n didn't get anything else done. Took a while to get going but once it did that was it, I was hooked. Loved the characters n description of the surroundings was great, felt like you were there with them.

    Beautiful read.

I am sad that my window on Provence has closed! I adored all the pictures Kathy painted with words. I really felt I was there & could feel the sun & smell the Lavender. The storyline was great. I liked the fact that there were many twists to the plot, & relationships matured in a gentle believeable way. I am left with the feeling of warmth having really enjoyed this book.

    Perfect title

Portraits and portraiture play a subtle role in this book, not only in the sense that a painting or a photo is a representation of a person, but also in the way we both reflect and serve as a mirror for those people in our lives who are important to us. The surface story is fairly straightforward, but the depths leave one thinking about the complexity and simplicity of human lives. I enjoyed this read very much.
