    Loved it!

I was so happy to read more about Amber and Irix, and am really glad that their stories are turning into a series! I swear, for a half succubus and half elf, Amber can get into just as much trouble as her friend and demon imp, Sam, can. And that's saying something lol. I loved the mystery and bit of intrigue in this book, and that it grips you and pulls you in. I guessed who the "bad guy" was pretty early on, but it really didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book. And it was fun finding the "why". I have to say, I kinda liked the "bad guy", and really felt for them at times. It's a very good author who can make that happen. And I'm really excited to see if they show up in the future books. I really hope they do, I can just imagine all kinds if chaos and fun that will ensue if that happens haha. I also really enjoyed watching Amber grow into who she is. At the start, she's still very tentative about the succubus side of herself. She felt that she was somehow dirty, or bad, for being who she was. And it was really sad to imagine seeing yourself that way. So it was really wonderful to see her not only accept that part of who she is, but embrace it and see the good in it. The last thing I'm gonna say is that I really liked how Debra Dunbar handled the very unconventional relationship that Amber and Irix had. I'm a very open person, and the fact that they needed other partners, being an incubus and succubus, in order to survive, doesnt really bother me. They love each other and what they have together is special and unlike anything else they have with others. I also really liked the way she showed that you can love more than one person, and not all love is the same. It's a concept some may disagree with or have issues with, but I thought it was handled very well, and I actually happen to agree with what was said in the book. It was actually quite refreshing, to be honest. All in all, if you love Debra Dunbar's other books, you will definitely enjoy this one as well. If you are new to her, I'd suggest reading Demons of Desire, which is the first in her Half Breed series (this book is the second), or reading A Demon Bound, which is the first of her Imp Series (and my personal favorite). The Half Breed series is a minor spin off series of the Imp series. You will see a little bit of crossover, but not much. However, the Imp Series does give you much more background on Amber and why she is a half elf/half demon. Personally, I'd suggest starting with A Demon Bound, and reading those before jumping into this series. You wont regret it. All her books are filled with hilarity and good fun, as well as mystery and intrigue, and the Imp Series is a wonderful introduction into the world the author has created. This is a book, and series, that I know I'm going to enjoy reading over and over again! *I received an ARC from this author in exchange for an honest however I also enjoyed it so much that I also purchased it*

Fun, enjoyable characters. Made me more interested in learning more about Maui.
