    Thanks for your feedback!

An incredible collection of suspense novellas!

I absolutely love the fact that this collection is connected by the fact that one of the main characters in each story is dealing with something that happened in their past. In one way or another, these issues are very important to what is happening in the current situation. This was a great job by the publisher in putting together this group of stories and titling the book. All of the main characters were very well developed and easy to connect with. The three stories were very different from each other but extremely entertaining. Missing by Dee Henderson I really enjoyed the details given as to how a missing person report is processed when there is no obvious foul play. It captivated me. I love the deep faith in God that John Graham had that he was able to hold onto while trying to locate his elderly mother. The relationship between John and Sharon Noble started with a mutual respect for each other’s work ethic and character. That was refreshing. Shadowed by Dani Pettrey This is the first story by Dani Pettrey that I have ever read. I really liked how stubborn both Libby Jennings and Ben McKenna were. They were both solid believers that knew how to lean on God during trying times. I was fascinated by the fact that this story in set in Alaska, just a short distance from Russia, during the Cold War. Blackout by Lynette Eason Macey’s fear of letting others into her life was very understandable. I loved the fact that Chad was a solid presence in her life and didn’t allow her to push him away. She needed help and he was determined to provide it. There were a couple of very satisfying twists that surprised me in this story. I received a free eBook copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
