    Sisters, Loved it!!

I love visiting Mischief Bay and this was no exception. In this story you meet Harper , her mother Bunny, her sister Stacey and her teenage daughter Becca. Then you have the main man, Lucas. They are all going through their own difficulties. Harper is recently divorced trying to run her virtual assistant company while raising her teenage daughter. Harper is also perceived as Martha Stewart, always having everything perfect the holidays. It will have you laughing out loud. Stacey's number one focus, is her job. But now she has a secret that she is keeping from her mother, she is six months pregnant. Stacey has never been the nurturing type. In fact her husband is going to quit his job and raise their baby. Becca is the typical teenage daughter, the world should revolve around her. She is wanting to get her driver's license. Trying to accept the fact that her dad has moved on with is life. Bunny, the matriarch of this family. Always having the last word. Also a susie homemaker, always having cookies in the cookie jar. Still believes women belong in the home. Then you have Lucas! We should all have a Lucas in our life. Lucas is a client of Harper's, who becomes much more to her and Becca. Loved, how he stepped up for Becca to help her get her driving license. This is a story that will having you laughing out loud and feeling the emotions of this multi generational family. So much of story I could identify with having my own sister and daughter. I highly recommend this story to all mothers and daughters!!

    Good Book

I love to read Susan Mallery books. I liked the plot points in this book, and I liked most of the characters. I like how real the story is. It could very well be about a neighbor, family member or yourself. However, I despise Bunny. I had such a hard time finishing this story because she was so annoying. I really had to force myself to get through the parts with her in it. I was secretly hoping that something would happen to her, so she wouldn’t be in the book anymore. On the flip side I really like Stacy, and her husband is the husband of dreams. Reading about Becca maturing into a young woman was a really fun part of the book, especially when Lucas tell her what’s what.

    Loved this

This story was so perfect I couldn't stop reading. I loved all three story lines and they all came together seamlessly. Harper and Lucas's story was my favorite but Stacys worry over being a mom was right up there. It was refreshing to follow Becca in her young adult journey. I hope we learn more about all of their stories in up coming Susan Mallery books.

    Life, Love & Growing Up!

I really like this series and I liked this book as the characters are realistic and well fleshed out to make them likable, hate-able, funny, annoying and more with the layers of depth that the author has given each character. The story is about life, loss, love and finding joy as well as purpose as the characters grow and expand. My only hang-up with this book is the ending. If felt rushed and almost like the author decided they had hit enough words so lets just rush it to end it and wrap a bow around it so everyone is happy. I was honestly really liking this book until I hit the ending and it wasn't the entire ending. I like where the characters are headed with their educations, businesses, families and more. It is the storyline between Harper and Lucas that left me frustrated. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but lets just say it leapt to a finish without going through realistic progress otherwise it was a good book and I will definitely look forward to the next book in the series.
