    Six Impossible Things: Part 2

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Six Impossible Things: Part 2 by Skylar Hill. This is a Serial by the marvelous Skylar Hill, about Lucas and Nora. Both have had troubling past relationships that have made them wary of getting into new ones but when they meet, Lucas is all about getting to know Nora better. He’s got his work cut out for him, Nora is intensely resistant. Very good story from the very first part. Keeps you hooked and coming back for more.

    Sugar shock!

Sugar shock! This is so sweet and so charming and has amazing depth for such a short read. It echoes a need that every human being wants to have fulfilled whether they admit it or not: to be "seen" by the people around us. Luke has gone out of his way to show Nora just how special he thinks she is. And Nora's rewarding that care by allowing him to see some of the more carefully guarded parts of her life and heart. As a serial, it ends in a cliff-hanger. This one is abrupt and jarring. And the twist in it's tail has very sharp bite. I'm desperate to find out what this turn of events will bring us in the next installment. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
