Rivalry was awesome. It's a marriage of convenience of sorts and enemies to lovers vibe. The main characters, Celia and Edward are devious, manipulative, enigmatic and I loved them. I know I shouldn't but I do and cannot wait for more of their story especially after the way it ended. I highly recommend this compelling tale.

When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Laurelin Paige is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book. Celia Werner is an only child. She working as an interior designer. She’s been manipulative often exploiting the weaknesses of others. Then she meet a man named Edward Fasbender. He makes her feel unbalanced. She was closed off and it had been so long since she’d felt anything. Edward excited her. He was a powerful, ruthless, attractive British businessman who owned a multimillion-dollar. He was her father’s main rival and competitor. He was ambitious, calculating and arrogant. He’s a man who takes what he wants.

    Mind Game Championship

I was on edge while reading this entire book. It is book one of a spin off series. I highly recommend reading the Fixed series by Laurelin Paige because it is one of my favorite series of all time. It’s also important to have the background information on Celia Werner. Slay is Celia’s story. Celia’s past behavior is seemingly lacking conscience and ethics. In this book, Edward Fasbender is the head of of a rival business, and he claims romantic interest in Celia. As a reader, I wasn’t sure who is the evil character - Celia or Edward? Little by little pieces of background and personality about each character is shared. I am having questions whether they need to be locked up or need a hug. It ends in a cliff hanger, and book two cannot be here fast enough.

Rivalry - Will it pay to Dance with this Devil?

Rivalry (Slay Book 1) Laurelin Paige has taken over my brain! Is Celia really the master game player I always thought she was? Has she met her match when it comes to playing against Edward Fasbender? Someone is going to lose and although I have never ever been on team Celia I am rethinking whose team I want to cheer for right now...just when I thought it was Edward, I totally changed my mind and am moving quickly on to Team Celia, because even after seeing some of what she has done, I'm thinking even Celia doesn't deserve to dance with the devil.

    Slay By Laurelin Paige. Awesome

Awesome story. I don't like Edward's chauvinistic attitude even if he is upset over his first wife and I don't like the games and the lives Ceila seems to ruin it isn't fair and what makes it worse she thinks it is funny. At least it keeps you guessing what will happen next.
