    Page Turner

Stephen King has a great style of writing. He just knows so well how people think. He always puts little additional comments in brackets that make the character come alive. I hated to put the book down and was sorry when I finished it. I wanted more even though it was a pretty long book already.

    very good book

I would definitely recommend this book. It was great. It really makes you think that alternate worlds could really be just beyond this one.

    Feminist narrative

I love to read Stephen King. I have read almost all his books but this one was disappointing inspite of the quality of the narrative I felt that in some ways it was merely promoting sjw feminist nonsense. Men bad women maybe not good but better then men. Lila feeling guilty she shot a black person and then a listing of a few more shootings of black people inspite of the facts more white people are shot by police so I had to plow on to finish as I felt Steve was spouting nonsense in the mouths of his characters. Well Steve and his son. I will not recommend this book.

    A Non-stop Read

What a very interesting world to envision...women fall asleep, become volatile if awakened, but yet easily killed as they slumber, and men left alone ...well if you’re a woman, you already know where that’s headed! (Sometimes it’s just so darn hard to see the forest for the trees). What kind of world could women create if left to their own devices? And after creating said world, would they ever want to return? Such meaningful questions, so much drama and uncertainty...definitely a book worth your time reading. I truly enjoyed the ride and am sad to say goodbye, I bet you will be too 😻
