Book 5 in the Trouble series - great reading!

A new story in the Trouble series and most enjoyable! In 'Small Town Trouble' Trouble the cat detective did have a bit of a challenge on his hands with a questionable deputy, equally dubious stepmother and a father for Noah who should have been locked up in jail and the key thrown away! Fortunately Trouble can get Erin and Noah realise they were made to be a pair and solve the murder of Julie as well as untangling the so called kidnapping of Shelby Rae. All ends well in this sequel of the Trouble series and you should put it on your list of books to read this season!

    Secrets Revealed

Trouble the Detective cat is back. This time Trouble is in Kentucky with Tammy Lynn's friend Erin and her family. When Erin's stepmother is kidnapped, Trouble who is one very intelligent, observant cat uses his perseverance to solve the mystery. Past secrets are revealed and truths uncovered. I am totally enjoying each new story written by a different author in this series. I love the story coming from the perspective of Trouble. Laura Benedict's characters are well developed and I felt like I was on the journey to find the truth with Erin. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

    Good Fifth Trouble Mystery Book

In this entertaining book based on the adventures of Trouble, the Sherlockian detective feline is on another case in New Belford, Kentucky. He is residing in the home of Erin Walsh, a college student on summer vacation visiting her father, Bruce and her step-mother, Shelby Rae. Through Trouble and Jocko shenanigans during an employee party, Erin befriends Noah, a good -hearted auto mechanic, whose father is involved in the murder of Erin's beloved mother, Rita seven years ago. Erin is enjoying her summer vacation until a kidnapping and a shocking murder rocks the town of New Belford, Kentucky. I love the great detective team of Trouble and Erin that I would like to see them again in a new Familiar story line. This book has a very solid plot line with several well tied in red herrings to keep the reader in suspense in this book series. The characters' are well developed to move this plot line forward. The crimes were solved towards the end of the book with a quick wrap up for Erin, Trouble, and Noah. I love knowing these characters will move on to new adventures. I figured out the whodunit during the middle of the story. The ending was written unevenly as to what happened to the prime suspect's motivation. I had read that part of the book twice to make sure that I did not miss something along the plot line. Overall, it is a good read for Trouble's fans and his detective adventures. I wonder what town Trouble will be going to in the next book of this fun feline series. A very decent quick read on an weekend afternoon with a satisfying conclusion. I was given an ARC for a honest book review.

    Who wants more Trouble?

I love the Trouble series. Who knows where Trouble will end up on his adventures? In this book, Trouble is visiting Erin Walsh in New Belford, Kentucky while his owner goes to Italy for work. Erin has come home from college for summer break. She has trouble getting along with her step-mother, Shelby Rae. When Shelby Rae is kidnapped, Erin turns to Noah to help her figure out the real story. Erin is unsure for various reasons that Noah is the right choice, but of course Trouble is there to lead the way in finding the kidnapper and saving Erin’s life.
