    Fantastic

A fantastic read and a great addition to this contemporary series from Darcy Burke. I love her writing style, character development, and low angst storylines. This is Jamie Westcott's story and it's a great one! What started as a crazy New Year's Eve hookup between Crystal Donovan and Jamie Westcott quickly heats up. Since they live in two different worlds, Crystal in the glitz and glam of LA while Jamie is a Ribbon Ridge boy, there doesn't seem to be much of a future. Yet as Crystal starts spending more and more time in Ribbon Ridge their relationship becomes much more than a fling. Can they find a way to make this work??. A great read that I definitely recommend to everyone.

Another great book in the Love on the Vine series!

The Love on the Vine series, which is a spin-off of the Ribbon Ridge series, keeps getting better. Not only did, “So in Love”, have the super hot sex scenes that Darcy Burke does a great job writing, but the historical aspects in this book was very interesting to read. And it is also very timely with what is happening in the United States right now. As with every book in the two series, there is a couple who gets together, but usually it takes them awhile to get out of their own heads, before they finally become a couple. While I know this is a common romance troupe, at times, for me, it can get to be a bit too repetitious. Fortunately with this book there was very little of it, instead Burke focused more on the on going mystery in the series. Burke does a fantastic job combining humorous scenes with great character development, as well as more dramatic ones that shine with the character’s growth. And with any great romance, Burke doesn’t skip on the sex scenes. But one of the things I really enjoy about them is how realistic and loving they are, without skipping on the heat. Stop reading reviews, and just buy this book (and the whole Love on the Vine, and Ribbon Ridge series too), if you haven’t already!

    Burke Does it Again

Burke makes a mark on the heart with So in Love. I absolutely love the Ribbon Ridge spin off series, Love on the Vine. Crystal's and Jamie's story is full of emotion, both highs and lows. The continued mystery from the first two books in the series finds a resolution in So in Love. The answers are devastating to the Westcott family and make the casual, benefited relationship between Crystal and Jamie almost insurmountable. Burke writes great characters who have engaging dialogue. The entire cast of characters are dynamic and genuine. The town of Ribbon Ridge is a great place to visit. I highly recommend this book to fans of the contemporary romance genre. I voluntarily read and reviewed a complementary copy of this book.

    Really good

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. Jamie and Crystal are so great together and it's good to see them both get their HEA.

...a mixture of romance, drama and mystery.

The appeal of a Darcy Burke novel is that whether historical or contemporary, her target is always the heart. The connection between author, reader and story is paramount and she never misses her mark. So In Love is a mixture of romance, drama and mystery. Modern day romance gets a hand from a little fictional history. With a few familiar faces along to guide the way, Crystal and Jamie discover the importance of love and sacrifice. If it's relatable and emotional, Ms. Burke surely has done something right.
