    Fantastic

I loved this story!! These characters just made my heart swell. Great writing and a story that will make you laugh and swoon made this a very enjoyable read. Isobel Chase is strong, confident, and talented on the ice maybe not quite so much in life but she's determined not to let anyone see that vulnerable side. She's working hard to earn respect in the hockey coaching world and she can't let her newest assignment, Vadim Petrov damage what she's worked so hard for. Vadim is Russian born, dominating, and pure sex. He and Isobel have a history. As teens they shared one night of passion before being caught by her father. When Vadim finds out that night may not have been as memorable for Isobel as it was for him he makes it his mission to show her just how much his uDon't skills have improved! Don't miss this one. I highly recommend it.

    5 gold stars!

So Over You by Kate Meader is book two in the Chicago Rebels series and highly recommended. For those who love hockey romances, this is the book for you! Isobel Chase is the middle Chase sister and has a lot going on. Not only in her professional life but personal, as well. Since her father died, she had to learn about a sister, she never knew she had and has to work with her older sister at being co-owner of their late father’s hockey franchise. Isobel knows hockey. It’s in her blood. She almost won Gold at the Olympics but an injury stole that away from her. Now she’s set her sights on coaching. Her first task, Vadim Petrov, a man she knows all too well. Vadim has been traded to the Chicago Rebels where the Chase sisters have inherited ownership. He’s very familiar with Isobel. He took her virginity when they were younger, but that’s where it ended. Now he’s older, wiser, and known as Czar of Pleasure. When word gets around that Isobel never reached satisfaction with Vadim, he sets out to right his wrong. I loved both Vadim and Isobel. Isobel was so strong, but also bull-headed in her quest to get back in the game. Vadim was grumpy but lovable. He truly cared about Isobel and you see that throughout the pages. The secondary characters only added to the story and made me want more. So Over You is an entertaining, sexy and sweet romance that readers will love. Especially, those who adore second chances and/or hockey romances.

4+ Stars! Sexy, Steamy & Sweet!

So Over You is a sizzling second-chance romance that introduces us to the broody, stubborn, handsome Vadim and the feisty, driven, scarred Isobel as they each navigate the loss of a loved one, familial drama, career-altering injuries, undeniable chemistry and insatiable desire. The writing is lighthearted and fun. The supporting characters are encouraging, loyal, and kind. And the plot, from start to finish, is filled to the brim with longing, lust, emotion, angst, witty banter, and tantalizing romance. So Over You is the second novel in the Chicago Rebels series and another highly entertaining, thoroughly enjoyable sports romance by Meader who seems to have the formula for writing irresistible rom-coms down to a fine art.

    #Swoon!

#Swoon! Swoon worth hero? Check. Strong independent heroine? Check. Major attitude and animosity? Check. Being totally in denial of your feelings? Oh yeah! Isobel and Vadim were so hot and sizzling together. Their animosity and heat towards one another was off the charts and I loved being totally absorbed into it all. The conflict between them made for the best one liners, great verbal sparing and sizzling chemistry. So many great moments between them and I couldn’t get enough. I love the back and forth and tension. And when they explode they explode! Kate Meader really brings the sexy time scenes. I really loved this storyline and the writing. Loved the feel, the pace, and all the details. I loved getting to see other characters from the previous story as well. Get ready for some serious fun, a whole lot of sparing and off the charts sexy in this incredibly entertaining story. Don’t miss it! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    4 Not Over You Stars!

Who knew Russian talk could be so sexy? There was a lot to this couple that I really enjoyed. Vadim's accent was a big draw, but seeing him with his sister that he just found out about and his mom that had left him when he was 10 really gave this story heart. I was worried Vadim might be too much of a womanizer in the beginning but it did not lead to that. I was very thankful to see the author wasn't going to be throwing a bunch of other women drama in this story. Isobel's character was interesting. Her drive and ambition in a male dominated sport made her stand out in this series. I loved how she handled a few things with Vadim that could have become unnecessary drama but didn't due to her reactions. Add in more Harper and Remy from book 1, more teasers of Violet and Bren and this has been a fun series so far. ARC provided by Netgalley.
