    loved it

Another great read from Kristen Ashley. This is classic KA. I love that we get to see several characters who have made mistakes in different ways work hard to get themselves back onto the right path and are able to find redemption and love. Loved Amelia, loved Mickey. Their relationship, especially at the beginning, had an element fighting/arguing leading to sparks, but I really liked that there was just a hint of this and not too much. There was a lot of sweetness, tenderness, and shared strength too. Can't wait for Coert's story next!

    Enjoyed the story

Decided to read the second book and wasn't disappointed in the story-line at all. Nice to see characters from the first book having significant roles in this one. The family dynamics were interesting, indicating just how difficult it can be to 'blend' a new family together when both adults have children from previous marriages. Again, the bedroom scenes were a little too graphic for me - and I don't believe I am a prude - but I don't believe these scenes really need to be so descriptive and take up so many pages.......... My other little complaint would be the language - do people really drop the 'f' word as much as these people do? I must live in a bubble if that is the case. I did think this detracted from what, on the whole was a really good story which would have stood just as well on its own without the language. I would really like to read more of Kristen Ashley's books as I believe she is a very talented author, but wonder if they are all littered with the same graphic sex scenes and unnecessary language.
