Fun And Lively Trip To The Highlands!

Suzanne Enoch has been around the historical romance circuit for a while and it is clear why when you pick up one of her books. Some Like It Scot is the fourth work in her Scandalous Highlanders series and brings all the wit and romance readers have come to expect from this author. An endearingly stubborn and well-matched hero and heroine bring fiery passion and genuine friendship to this story. Secrets, loyalty, acceptance, trust, love and lots of interfering family bring this work full circle and make for a fun and lively trip to the Highlands! *I received this ARC via Netgalley.* *While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*

Fun & entertaining way to spend the day!

Two women on the run, one man who offers to help them although it could disrupt the stability of his clan and a sweet love story’s groundwork is laid. The setting is the highlands and it sounds lovely, a man in a kilt was fun to contemplate and especially since that man was Bear, Cat is self-sufficient and able to care for herself and her stepsister but she is tempted by Bear, Bear’s family considers him a bit dimwitted but he might just outthink them all and the clan leaders may find that their way may not work out for all they have plans for. This was a fun and entertaining way for me to spend the day. I have not read other books in the series but did not need to in order to enjoy this book. I will be looking for more books by Suzanne Enoch. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Paperbacks for the copy of this book to read and review.

She's just as spirited as he is brash.

She's just as spirited as he is brash. Ms. Enoch won me over the minute Catriona was introduced. I enjoy romance novels, particularly historical romance. Any character that is not a damsel in distress. Can take care of herself and is not afraid to voice her opinion is alright with me. Catriona and Munro are a fiery combination. On so many levels they should not have worked. Personality clashes, homeland differences and willful tempers. All of these things stacked the cards against them but proved inconsequential in the end. There is never a dull moment but always a new adventure. I received an ARC of Some Like it Scot by Suzanne Enoch in exchange for an honest review.
