  • Great addition to the Westcott series

A very good addition to the series (I'd give it 4.5 stars). It was refreshing to read about two older characters, with a lot of "baggage." As usual, Ms. Balogh does excellent characterisation with a good plot. Not many writers excel on the representation of Regency times—but she does. It can be read as a standalone (everything regarding previous books' events is explained), but readers will enjoy it even more having read the other books from the series (specially book 1).

  • Running Away

Running away did not prove to be the solution to Olivia's angst, nor Marcel's. However, they did come up with a solution.

  • Margaret Sholders

Mary has never written a bad story. I must say this Story Line is the best book yet. I only look for young Lords and Ladies to read. I got a surprise with this one. Viola had a surprise too when she found her husband. After dead she was married to the second wife. Now she is out of the Ton! Viola runs! Marcel is going home to see his children from being away so long. The twins, Estelle and Bertrand, at 17! Major Spoiler! She needs a carriage to get home and Marcel is waiting for a broken Carl to get fixed. They go together and travel. They are 40 and their families think they are children! Spoiler! There are a lot of twists and turns. There is Marry Me to I will not Marry You! I fell right into this book! I hope you too will enjoy reading this book from Mary. You won't regret it!

  • Love, love, love!

I absolutely LOVE Mary Balogh and her stories! I always get so absorbed into them and cannot seem to put them down until I’m done unless absolutely necessary.
