  • "Kasan made me feel cherished."

I love this book so much! Ms. Nathan accurately chronicled campus life and how the smart, studious girls were always picked on by the so-called “popular” girls. I felt like I was back in college and my heart ached for poor Shay. She was in college to immerse herself in her studies, make some real friends and get the college degree she had always dreamed about. Attending parties and pledging a sorority were not on her agenda. And neither was meeting a hunky but rude snowboarder who played loud music at all hours of the night. Kasan was the kind of guy your Mom warned you about when she gave you the “college talk.” Shay was not impressed with him at all and was dismayed when he appeared in her physics class. She had no idea why he would be taking such a difficult class -- until he tricked her into being his tutor. Kasan had to pass the class to graduate and Shay was his ticket to a passing grade. Shay wanted to have a worry-free semester and being in close quarters with Kasan only messed with her mind. Tutoring him was challenging, but her love of physics made up for the ill will she felt for him. Unfortunately, Shay began to look forward to their study sessions and Kasan’s charm and sexy grin wreaked havoc on her heart. She didn’t really like him but somehow, felt drawn to him. Can Kasan show Shay that he was more than just an arrogant snowboarder who was worthy of her love? Will Shay see the real Kasan and give him a chance?

  • An engaging enemies to lovers romance read

Shay, college freshman science major, has a horrible first encounter with Kason, college senior and elite snowboarder, the night before classes begin. As the story progresses things don’t seem to get better, a corner does eventually get turned, and when things spiral out of control the worst my be exactly what the need. J. Nathan’s Something About You is an engaging enemies to lovers new adult romance read. Shay and Kason are both broken, in different ways, but with enough elbow grease thy each get down to the sparkling center of the other. There are plenty of side characters that deserve to have their stories told that I would love to read. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

  • Entertains enemies to lovers

Something About You is the first book I have ever read by this author. I enjoyed it immensely and will be checking out her other titles soon. This book was about collage aged kids, Shay Miller and Kason McCloud. Shay has had a rough childhood and is happy to be away at school. Kason grew up in a loving household and is an accomplished snow boarder. The two of them don’t actually get off on the right foot, but he slowly gets Shay to see that he is a good person. This book was written in a way that flowed smoothly. I was quickly invested in both of the main characters and loved reading their story. Great story, fun to read, highly recommend!
