Horrible characters, also, too much back and forth

The characters start not knowing what they want and are too weak to go after it. They will give you whiplash with the back and forth. — “And that’s just how pathetic I am—hoping for the woman I love to come to my door and tell me she can’t live without me, even though I was a complete and total ___, and God knows there’s no future for us.” — Once again I don’t like how the characters perspective changes in the middle of the chapters. — These characters are poorly written. No growth. If you want hotness, I’d advise you to read the novella.  — “Are you sure you don’t want to tell him how you feel?” She pulls a burp cloth from her purse and reaches around Josie to wipe up Sophie’s spittle stream. “Maybe if he knew you still loved him—” — I couldn’t finish reading the book. I definitely wasted my money — the characters, whine, whine, and whine. What’s worse is, they don’t do anything about it. I became tired of the back and forth, and it stopped me from feeling a connection to the characters. — The first part of the book, I cursed the characters out. For a Hero who loved to tie up, screw and leave, surely turned into a whiney baby. — “My gut twists every time my gaze snags on Liz in that guy’s arms. All night I’ve been asking myself why I didn’t go to her sooner. Or call her. Anything.”

    Really good read!

Something Real was the conclusion to Liz and Sam's story. I would urge you to read them in order. If you haven't already read book one, you should read it first. You will find heat and steam, ;-) excitement action, surprises and everything wonderful that I have come to expect from Lexi Ryan's writing style. I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say that it was really good and leave you to take my word for it. ;-) I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion.
