    Thanks for your feedback!

    It's okay

It's not terrible, there are some great sexy times, the plot is halfway decent and the characters are mostly likeable. The guy is a complete jerk in the beginning and somehow this becomes acceptable but i couldn't quite like him after that. Also some of his behavior is actually within the parameters of abusive partners: he frequently tries to force her to change her clothes; he is crazy jealous/possessive; and several times he loses his temper (albeit not violently) while blaming it on her like she 'made' him do it. This kind of behavior somehow passes for love and romance in some books but it's a poor imitation at best. Alpha doesn't have to mean controlling and abusive, but in this book it comes a little close. The female lead is supposed to be a mother but the kids randomly disappeared for days on end without explanation whenever convenient for the plot (i guess they were with their dad, but its all awfully convenient) including some passages of borderline neglect, for instance: apparently leaving a 5 yo asleep in a hotel room on her own while the mother went out drinking. I mean I'm not sure about in the US, but that is illegal here, so I found that pretty disturbing. In fact the daily demands of childrearing kind of seemed missing until it was convenient for the plot to have them around. My main dislike for the book is really that the narrative voice is something between immature or trashy, I can't quite pinpoint it. So...just ok!
