    Funny and sexy!

Two great authors have written a terrific romantic comedy. Elle James and her sister, Delilah Devlin, are both on my list of favorite authors. Individually, these two sisters write fantastic books that have given me many hours of reading pleasure. Now, together, they have written a wonderfully entertaining, sexy and fun story – Something to Talk About. This isn't the typical Delilah Devlin story (her books are usually scorching hot) but I find that, as a reader, it's fun to try new things and I'm sure the same must be true for writers. Elle James also writes sexy hot books but one of my favorite books she's written is a romantic comedy called Voodoo on the Bayou so I was excited to read this one and it didn't disappoint one bit. Something to Talk About is the second book in the Texas Billionaire's Club but you don't have to have read the first one – this book stands alone just fine. In fact, somehow, I missed reading the first book in this series (something I hope to correct soon) and I never felt like I'd missed something important while reading Something to Talk About. Casey Cramer and Rip O'Rourke just don't seem to get along; they dated a couple of times but then Casey dropped Rip like a hot potato and he never really understood why. When management of the radio station where they work forces them to host the morning drive show together their confrontational banter on the air has ratings for the station going higher and higher. The more they work together the more Rip wants to get closer to Casey but she takes a little longer to come around. There were many laugh out loud moments in this book but there were also many tender moments – especially towards the end. I know a book is a good one for many reasons and one of my barometers is how it engages me emotionally. If a book can make me laugh and cry it's usually a winner and this one is certainly that. I am looking forward to the next books in this series. Good job ladies! An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
