    Wonderful, tender romance!

Ms. Chase is one of the authors I read frequently, and lately she has put out a few books close to each other. Because of this, when I started reading this book, I have to admit I wasn’t exactly sure what the book was about. It really didn’t even matter. I was drawn in immediately when I started reading it, and I was captivated with the world of Abby Townsend. She was such a caring, wounded soul, and I just loved the way Ms. Chase showed how the love of friends, family, and neighbors can heal many wounds. This was such a sweet, tender book with friendship, romance, and a sense of closeness between people. I admit to crying at the end. Yes, there was a little bit of paranormal in this book, but please don’t let that turn you off of this book if you aren’t into that as it’s such a small part of the overall plot. If you love a book that is warm, tender, full of romance, friendship, fun, and personality, give this a try. Ms. Chase is a master of words no matter the genre she writes in! Highly recommend! I was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

    Quick and Light read

Light easy reading and at only 191 pages it was quick to read. When I started I wasn’t sure what the point of the book was, which by the end became clear. While there was a childhood romance that quickly and almost too easily resumed it was the healing and letting go of the past that was the true story. A great quick light hearted read!

    Loved!

A sweet story about love, family and overcoming guilt. Had some spells in it, but was not overly magical. Well written and easy to read. I’ve enjoyed all the books I’ve read by this author and this was no exception. Look forward to the next one!
