  • Unique Urban Fantasy

From what I have seen in the media if a Kardashian were a jinn then her name would be Zahara. She has all the complicated material girl vibes now to an art. Now her equally complicated and messy family come into play with Soul to Steal the second book in M.A. Guglielmo’s Smokeless Fire Series. Unique storyline with even more unique characters. Zahara still has all her desires in place, still pining after Harut, and still insists that she is one bad jinn so it is not wise to mess with her. However, the latter is almost always in question. Good verses evil is much more blurred in this story. Yet Zahara and her jinn-cousin find that they must take sides as the story progresses. Decisions are not as clear even as many of the remaining characters from the first book show up in Soul to Steal Though well-written this series is for a cooler crowd than me. More urban fantasy than true paranormal, this series is original. Fans of urban fantasy should not miss this series. An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
