  • Spider Game

Too little plot - too much licking, sucking, etc. filler. Feehan is capable of much more than what most would consider pornography.

  • Disappointed

Spider game could have been so much more. Christine Feehan follwed the Ghost Walker plot but got caught up in explicit sex scenes through out the entire book. I am not sure how many pages I had to skip through to continue reading the story. I have been looking forward to Spider Game since reading Viper Game. I hope Feehan will go back to her fantastic writing and story telling and get away from so many and such detailed sex scenes. The story was sadly ruined.

  • Spider Game

Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series is one of my top five paranormal romance. I have read all of the books in the series, some favourite titles even twice or more, when I am in the mood for a well written , action-packed, riveting story with a good balance of mystery, suspense, steamy romance and drama involving believable characters and settings. The latest in the series, "Spider Game", fell a little short of what I have come to expect from the series: too much of the story is concentrated on love scenes and not enough on the suspenseful, exciting part involving "good" GhostWalkers, the use of their individual gifts/powers that make each GhostWalker unique and special, and the ongoing conflict with Dr. Whitney and "bad" GhostWalkers. The fight scenes in the book end too quickly: you're left with "oh, is that it?". All in all, " Spider Game" is still an entertaining read with a very interesting heroine. The love scenes are no doubt hot and the emotional drama between the hero and heroine very moving in many places but compared to all the other books in the series, particularly the earlier stories, "Spider Game" falls a little short of the high bar I had expected. Perhaps the next one will meet expectations...

  • Spider game

A ok read. unfortunately the long involved sex scenes took away from what could have been a very powerful read.

  • Not worth it.

Such a disappointment. Forced, not enough story and just relying on the sex. Go back to the amazing storylines you used to write. Stop selling out by putting in so much sex.
