  • Satisfying read

A short story full of the action we expect from Zeb Carter and the team. When a shooter opens fire at the coffee house that a friend of theirs owns, it becomes personal. Everyone on the team will put all their efforts into finding out who is involved in the shooting and why. This being personal to Zeb and the team means those involved will get the punishments they deserve. Total pleasure to have the whole team, Chloe, Broker, Bear, Bwana, Beth, Meghan, and Zeb working together, even Cutter Grogan has an appearance

  • Great short story about Zeb Carter and the Agency.

A short story by Ty Patterson which involved Zeb Carter and his Agency friends. I have loved all the Zeb Carter books and this one was a very welcome addition while waiting for the next book by Ty Patterson. The story commences when the Kolumbus Koffee shop, the one where Zeb and his friends congregate regularly, is attacked by a biker with a gun. There have been two similar attacks in New York and the Agency decides that the one at Kolumbus, which killed two employees, was so personal that they had to investigate. The Agency eventually discovered that an international criminal was involved in, unsuccessfully, trying to purchase the building and decided that the carnage would convince the owner of the café to sell. The Agency has, of course, all the resources to discover the facts necessary to foil the culprits and they manage to find and eliminate or arrest, with lots of their usual violence, all of the suspects. It was, as usual, a great story and, of course, I read it in one go. Go Zeb! I want more!
