    Done with this author's books

I really try with JB's books. But I think this will be my last book with her. I've read the different series from JB, but I find that each book I read from here is the same formula. Man sleeps around... Woman is a pushover with no backbone... Woman falls in love even though man is mean and sleeps around... Get the point? I mean there is a such thing as VARIETY! The only book I've read from this author that I absolutely adored was Sex Piston. She wasn't a push over and gave as good as she got. Now to the review of this book: Holly & Greer have a volatile past. She feels guilt for keeping Dustin's son from him and Greer isn't one to miss a step when it comes to blaming Holly. Although Greer has no qualms showing his dislike for Holly, she pines away for him FOR 6 YEARS! I'm sorry but Holly must be a masochist if she's in love with a man who hates her and isn't afraid to let the world know. When Greer decides to settle down and marry to have kids (this is the part I just rolled my eyes and knew the book was going downhill) he doesn't know that one of his candidates is Holly aka KentuckyGirl. When he does find out about Holly catfishing him he basically blackmails her into marrying him. BUTTTT how can it be blackmail when for some ungodly reason Holly is in love with him?!? Where was the love between these characters? I don't believe for one second that Greer actually loved Holly. What about passion? If this is the quality the rest of book JB is putting out then I'm done. I honestly don't think I will pick up another book from this author. It's gotten to the point where I just skim through her books now because she just ruins the characters for me. It's as if the author thinks "Oh no this female character is showing some independence, time to knock her down a notch".

Jamie Begley is one of my favourite writers, EVER! Holly and Greer's story was sexy, sweet and with a dash of intrigue; it was impossible to put the book down. Bought the ebook after breakfast and by 5 p.m. and finished reading it in less than 10 hours (could have been shorter but had to do some housework). Jamie Begley will not disappoint. I'm looking forward to reading Rider's story. Please hurry Jamie Begley, I can't wait!
