  • Stanley

I have to say, I love the way Kathi S. Barton writes a series and how each individual book can be read as a standalone but also continues on with the next book. 'Stanley, aka Remy, is one of Bancroft's oldest friends. He has a few Vampire problems and comes to visit Bancroft and meet Kelly. If you've read the blurb to the book, then you know Lizzy was kidnapped, physically assaulted, and turned into a vampire. She's the only victim of six that survived. There are several twists and turns within the story and several small plots along the way that need to be dealt with. What I thought was the best part of this, other than the ultimate romance between Remy and Kelly, is the way these two couples, along with the cast of side characters, come together to be very generous with the small town they live in and make some much-needed improvements to help the needs of the community as a whole while benefitting individual lives. This is a great story. Now, I'm pumped about reading Donald.

    Thanks for your feedback!
