  • Choose how to spend your time

As I am someone in their 50s, this struck a cord. How much time do I spend chasing things versus self fulfillment? It struck a great balance between the fantastic and real. Balance, why we are here and what makes us human. I look forward to the next tale from Garth.

  • Excellent read

I love time travel stories and looked forward to reading this book what I didn’t expect was the detailed historical information that is included. What an interesting mix of historical story and personal growth. It has a positive uplifting Ending a pleasure to read!

  • Being a Starbuck

Peter Bois runs a big plastics company and is wedded to making maximum profits. Family life is suffering. An oceanic time travel experience puts him to the test on a whaler. It is not clear if he can survive and get back to his own time. I learned just how tough if was to serve on a whaler. The time travel was different and added interest.

  • Starbuck

The first novel was a great read for me as I so enjoy history and time travel the whaling industry and Nantucket are semi known to me and so it was very enjoyable even though I felt it got kinda bogged down and could have moved a little faster at times I will certainly read Mr Jeffries next novel
