    Excellent

I enjoyed this one very much! Kerry was such a unique character and that fact that Cooper would go through as much as he did to come after her was amazing. Kerry has always been filled with wanderlust. Never staying in any one place too long. That is until she landed on a cattle ranch in the Australian Outback. She had been there a year until she received the news that her sister was getting married and then her Uncle having a stroke brought her back to Blueberry Cove. Now another year has passed and she's beginning to wonder why her need for travel hasn't hit her like it usually does. Cooper Jaxton was content with his life in Australia running the family cattle business. That is until Kerry leaves after a year and he can't get over missing her. It may have taken him a year but he's going to get her back. That's why he's standing in her family's pub in Blueberry Cove. I thought this story was very well done and watching how Kerry and Cooper worked through the obstacles in front of them was quite entertaining. Overall an excellent addition the the Blueberry Cove series and a book I highly recommend.

Contemporary Romance - Put a smile on my face :)

What a fun read! I did not want to put this book down – but had to – there were other things I had promised to do. Australia has always fascinated me and having a book with a man from “Down Under” who is as warm, witty and charming as Cooper Jax show up in Blueberry Cover to woo Kerry McCrae proved the perfect read for me. The witty dialogue and fun times spent together, the honesty and clarity of conversation when discussing big issues and the willingness to see whether or not a long term relationship might be in their future all made this special and fun and hard to put down. The town was behind the romance, the family on both sides of the world could see Jax and Kerry should be together BUT Kerry was a wanderer and free spirit unsure she could ever settle in one place. There was no major fight to separate the two but what did happen to put things in perspective for both of them was big and the right sort of thing to have happen, in my opinion. This book made me smile and laugh and hope for the best for both Jax and Kerry – Great book!. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books-Zebra for the copy of this ARC to read and review!

    Starfish Moon

This novel is all in the details. There are lots about the scenery and the surroundings. Kauffman includes a great deal of narrative that focuses on background info, where the main characters were and what they did before now. This gave the novel a unique feel throughout. This is one of those novels that I had to become really invested in the characters to enjoy. Don’t get me wrong, the tale is well written and engaging. The plot was just atypical for Kauffman’s work. Once I was immersed in this world and the characters it was a great read. And that was no hardship at all since Kauffman has filled this novel with characters that captured my heart from the moment that I met them. I love how the characters can laugh at themselves (and at each other). Romance between these two is always fun, if not always easy. And I’ll admit, I’ll never look at a pirate the same way again. The relationship between the main characters is also solid. There’s a lot of talking and figuring things out. It was nice to see where it all came from. This was a Blueberry Cove novel that definitely stood out for me. The characters were fantastic and the plot very heartfelt. It’s a great read as part of the series or on its own. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Slower than the previous one, but good!

Book 3 in Donna Kauffman's The Brides of Blueberry Cove series brings us Kerry McCrae's story. She came home previously to attend a family wedding, then ended up staying to help Uncle Gus after his stroke. Now, more than a year later, her wanderlust still has not pulled her away, when a blast from the past shows up to proposition her! Cooper Jax and his family own a major cattle station in Australia that Kerry worked at for a year before she came home to Maine. She had never stayed in one place that long, but she loved the work and the family wormed their way into her heart. Cooper is there to tell her that it isn't the same without her, and to see if she will take a chance on whatever this thing is between the two of them. Kerry has never been the settling down type, and she doesn't even stick around for her own family, so she's terrified of taking a chance and failing. Will Cooper be able to show her the way to love that will still let her feel free?

    Love Cooper from Down Under

As with the other books in the Blueberry Cove series, Donna has written a wonderful story filled with humor and love. What makes this book even more special to me is that the hero, Cooper, is from Down Under. Australia is one of my most favorite countries so the hero being Australian and having the book set partially in Australia was definitely a bonus. I love the way Donna wrote their first meet-up when Cooper came to Blueberry Cove to look for Kerry. It was really interesting, albeit an awkward situation for Kerry. Cooper is definitely one of the guys you'll root for so it's no wonder that Kerry's sisters and friends were rooting for him. As always, I love the small town feel where friends and family poke their noses into your business but are always supportive for you. It can be read as a standalone but I think it would be great to read the rest of the books in the series to get the whole picture. ** I received an eBook copy from the author for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.
