    Stealing Harper

    Loved this book! Having read Taking Chances previously I knew how it was going to end...but Molly McAdams still managed to take me on an emotional roller coaster. I will definitely recommend this one...and all of Molly's books.

    Deprimente

    Moro em um país onde tragédias e desgraças são diarias e muitas. Basta ligar a TV e lá estão jovens que perdem a vida em acidentes ou por assassinatos; drogas, filhos matando pais e pais matando a família; crianças vendidas ao tráfico ou a pedófilos, etc., etc. Quando compro um livro, portanto,quero uma estória consistente e com problemas e erros plausíveis, sem situações absurdas, com um final, se não tipo "felizes para sempre", ao menos que dê oportunidade à figura central. Sim, pois, a despeito do título implicar Harper como tal, a narrativa, como um todo, gira em torno de Chase! Harper não passa de personagem pálido, sem brilho e mediocre. Entretanto, matando o pai do filho dela, a autora deixa implícito que ela continuará com Brandon,figurante apenas no confuso enredo, citado aleatoriamente em poucas passagens. Tediosa e decepcionante esta leitura.
