    Absolutely Loved It!!

Storm and Fury was so good!! The Dark Elements is my favorite series of Jen's so I was so unbelievably excited when I heard about The Harbinger series! I've always loved Zayne, I mean how can you not, he's the nicest and sweetest guy. I feel bad for him and everything he went through, and is still dealing with. He's not perfect, he still has his moments where he can be harsh and lash out, but it's definitely understandable why he acts that way sometimes. I loved getting to see him and relearn about his past through Trinity's eyes. Trinity is an enjoyable character. I love her spunk and attitude and especially how she likes to argue with people. She's such a strong and brave girl. I love how Jen wrote her and let us see a piece of herself through her eye condition. She worked it in very well and makes you see that you don't always know everyone's story and to never judge a book by its cover. It took a lot of strength to show a piece of herself like this. Storm and Fury had such an interesting storyline with many twists and turns thrown in, one that I actually called! It keeps you sucked in from the start and anxious for more. Peanut was a great new edition and had me cracking up! I of course absolutely loved seeing more Roth, Layla, and Bambi. Their appearances made me smile and of course laugh a lot, especially Roth being his usual Roth self. I wish I could just keep reading because this world and these characters are so interesting and intriguing! I love everything about it!

ALL the stars in the sky!

This was such a wild, amazing ride. My emotions are all over the place but I just have to let them lose in writing because I can’t contain my excitement over this book. This world is beyond unique and it was so good to be back. I have to confess I wasn’t #TeamZayne when reading The Dark Elements series, but boy, the tables have turned now. He’s moved to the top of my BBFs list. Zayne was this intimidating and a bit moody Warden dealing with his own issues from the past. But he was so kind and loving, just the way I remembered him from before. Trinity was such a sweetheart and even though she had all these powers and intriguing qualities surrounding her character, she was going through some very human emotions and insecurities. I loved her instantly. The banter between them was hilarious and sexy at the same time. I might have giggled like a schoolgirl with their exchanges. It was a slow-burning romance, gradually built, but so so beautifully written. I read and reread some parts over and over to savor each word. There were also some seriously steamy scenes and the chemistry was off the charts hot. But there were also intense battles and nail-biting moments that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see what happens. Crazy action, danger lurking at every corner and a strong female lead that I fell head over heels in love with. That’s what you’re getting into with this book. It was obvious this story was so personal for Jen. You could feel it in every word and every reference to this disease she is dealing with herself. I’m more in awe with her as a writer after reading this book. It requires a lot of strength and courage to do what she does having her condition. And I admire her even more for that now. The emotions were front and center in this book but combined with all the fast-paced battles, lovable characters, poignant backstories, touching romance and intriguing plot and this story turned into the perfect package. Add to that some very clear messages with life truths inside that made me think and really appreciate the little things we take for granted. And you got yourself an unforgettable experience. The book-hangover is guaranteed because this would surely be your next favorite book. Consider yourself warned.
