    Thanks for your feedback!

Another great chapter in this excellent series!

I devoured this book in two days, and it would have been sooner if I didn’t have to go to work! I have given all of Patricia Briggs books in the Mercy Thompson series, five stars (except for book 10, which was four stars), but with book 11, she is back to writing in her fast, action packed style, that I love. You would think with a book, and series, that I enjoy so much, I would go on and on about this book, but I don’t want to give any spoilers away if you’re a fan of this series. And if you’ve never read this series before, you really should start with the first one, Moon Called. But buy this one right now to help with author sales, so the series is able to continue!!! Briggs does so much fantastic character development, that by starting with the first book, you can enjoy what an amazing job she does. And by starting with Moon Called, you’ll also be able to relish the wonderful world of werewolves, vampires, witches, and fae that she builds. I will squee about one thing though, baby goat zombies.

    Are there hints ...../

Don’t ever start one of Patricia Briggs’s books just before bed time, you will not sleep until you’re finished the book! As with all of the books I’ve read of Patricia’s an excellent story line and introduction to more things/people I want to know about.

    Witches and Zombies

The long awaited continuation of Mercy Thompson/Hauptman and the pack finally arrived in my kindle. I was excited to say the least. Although the book didn’t exactly meet up to my expectations I wouldn’t say that I’m disappointed with the outcome either. I had wanted more personal development for the well beloved characters, but the storyline that was for sure kept me on my toes. The things I love most about this series, as well as Alpha and Omega, is the defining and cleverly written personalities, the werewolf descriptions and pack dynamics and last but not least the romance. Storm cursed delivered on all three parts and I am happy that there were more sweet moments with the pack and also romantic scenes between Adam and Mercy, having been deprived of that in the previous book. While I am a big romance fan and wished the series contained and depended a bit more on Adam and Mercy together, I also understand that that is just my personal preference. Romance was never really the main genre after all so I am still happy with the love that I get from the books, even if I crave more sometimes. I had however liked the story to go a bit deeper into the pack and the previous drama and dislike the pact had against Mercy. It was some there with Paul and Mary Joe, but it was more small recaps than anything. The plot with witches was thrilling for sure, but it also replaced the previous unsolved issues and aspects that came up previously in the series. The whole fae and Gray Lords for example took a back seat, as well as Aiden and them now pretty much being the “rulers” of the Tri-Cities and how they are going to handle that responsibility. However, I am not in the least worried, since it most likely means that this will be dealt with in future installments. If only I didn’t have to wait two years for the next book. I am already excited!

    Have Mercy will Read

Another blockbuster book in this series. Patricia Briggs’ characters are fun, scary, likeable, and definitely memorable. Can’t wait to spend another few hours with Mercy, Adam and the crew in the next book.

    Well done.

I really enjoyed the book. It was non-stop action, and we learned more about Sherwood Post. I do not know where the story goes from here, but I think it is building up to something big!
