    Excellent

I'm not a huge fan of rock star romances but I did really enjoy this one. Granted there isn't much about is rock star life in the story. It's simply a feel good romance with very little angst and a nice build to the conclusion. The writing is excellent and the characters are very well done. My only minor complaint about the book is that it got a bit bogged down in the middle. I would have like a quicker pace to the story. Overall a very entertaining read and a book I would definitely recommend. Sam Castle has been working and touring for what seems like all his life. Living hard and fast, drinking way too much. He knows he needs to get away and reset his life so after his last tour stop he falls off the grid and stays at a small B&B in never heard of Dale, GA. That's where he meets the very beautiful innkeeper Faith Adams and her young daughter. The time they spend together and the simple life of this community heal Sam's tattered soul. Now all he has to worry about is his heart.

    Storming the Castle

Sam really needed some time to himself to recharge and evaluate his life. His rocker lifestyle has started to take a toll and he’s moving ever closer to being a horrible cliché. A cabin in the middle of nowhere, isolation, and a chance to get his head on straight is all he wants. But he doesn’t count on his sexy landlord. Faith leads a very quiet life and is happy that way. Her newest tenant may have some strange requests (and come across as a grump) but she could use the money. Especially as things get a little heated with her in-laws. But a she gets to know Sam a little better she realizes that there is more to him than she thought … and she’s interested in finding out even more. There’re troubles for both but things are relatively drama free between the two of them. Sam is very supportive and gives of himself once he gets involved. Faith has some problems thanks to her past but she does her best to handle them and look forward to the future. Especially a future that includes Sam. Storming the Castle is a lovely read of people getting to each other, taking stock of their lives, and deciding the direction they want to go. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
