    city meets small town

Suddenly Mine is a great spin on big city boy meets small town girl. Ms. Chase was able to create characters that you can't help but cheer them on. Christian and Sophie both show so much growth in this book and not just in their relationship. While this is part of the Montgomery Brother series I love that you can pick this book up and not be lost. I can't see what Ms. Chase comes up with next.

    Great read

I love the Montgomery Brothers series and this book is a fantastic addition! It's a story of two very different people finding a way to let go of their heartbreaking pasts and forging a happy future together. He's a big city workaholic. She's a small town girl trying to start over in a new state and city. Together they bring balance to each other. Something they both desperately need. Their story is fun and full of emotion. The writing and character development is outstanding making this a book not to be missed. I highly recommend it.

    Amazing, Full of Emotion

Amazing. I could not put this book down. The Montgomery's are busy again at matchmaking, this time their victims are Christian and Sophie. Christian is a workaholic, trying to prove to his dad that he can be a success in the family business. Sophie is a nurse and is new to San Diego looking for a job. Sophie ends up working for the Montgomery's and comes to Christian's aid. Soon a friendship develops and more, but will their pasts with their fathers interfere with their relationship. Loved, loved these characters!! Both are broken but with the help of each other they can overcome. So many emotions, please have a kleenex box handy. Samantha Chase is at her best with her story telling. She hit it perfect with the medical information and her Kansas logistics. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this book!!

    Well written

4 Star Review of Suddenly Mine (The Montgomery Brothers #8) by Samantha Chase I love this series from Samantha Chase. Each and every book is filled with love and family. I would not mind being adopted into the Montgomery clan to be honest. Although book 8 this can be read as a stand alone. This is Christian Montgomery and Sophie Bennington’s story and one that I enjoyed. Although perhaps not as much as previous books in the series. Christian is a workaholic and the family business is all that he has focused on for years. Sophie, reeling from the fact that her whole life is a lie meet by chance. Fate works in mysterious ways and when they Christian is attracted to her but knows he has no time to date. However Christian is shocked when he discovers that the new nurse for the company is in fact the mysterious Sophie. As they work together they develop a relationship which has a big impact on Christian. The chemistry between them was at times intense and yet it was heart warming to see their love develop; both of them were committed to forging a future together despite their pasts and the secrets that threatened to destroy them. This is a well written story of coming to terms with the past, of love and family which I really enjoyed.

    Quick and easy read

Oh, Samantha Chase, you write books that I fall into and cannot seem to find my way out of until I read the very last word. Suddenly Mine is a book that tells the story of Sophie Bennington who has left Kansas to move to California to escape the gossip of a small town and the story of Christian Montgomery who is working too hard just to win his father’s approval. The story goes as expected with the two of them meeting, sparks flying, and love happening. The part of the story that I really loved is the openness of the Montgomery family. Even though they meet Sophie under the worst of circumstances they welcome her, they let her into their family, and they accept her for who she is. I love to see how they chatted, the hugged, and they didn’t question when she was around during private family times. All of this welcoming seemed to just make her shine more, make her realize what is important to her, and make her fall for Christian even more. While this is a predictable story it is a story that I loved. I loved the beach setting and could picture Christian sitting on his deck watching Sophie try to surf. Suddenly Mine is a quick and easy read. Pick up your own copy and enjoy these wonderful characters.
