    Sawyer Bennett has outdonne herself!!!

This book is by far the deepest book Sawyer Bennett has written to date. And I have read all of her books. Sela Halstead is a VERY strong character who has a lot of REALLY deep issues. I desperately want things to work out well for her and Beck. And I really hope she can find a way to make JT pay without completely ruining everything between herself and Beck. This is only the first part of the trilogy but it is a really great beginning. I cannot wait to read the next part of the story. Be aware that this book ends in a cliffhanger.

    Amazing

I need more stars please - 5 just isn't enough!! Sawyer Bennett has once again blown me away with a story that has it all. Sizzling hot sexy times, emotional connection between the MC, characters you love, characters you hate, secrets, lies, revenge, all wrapped up in a story that grips you from the first page. I finished reading this one a few days ago and this story is still swirling around in my head. The only negative to this book is the fact that it's only part of the story. This is part 1 of a trilogy that will give us the complete story of Sela and Beck. The next one can't come soon enough for me. Put this one at the top of the MUST read list!! I highly recommend it.

    Phenomenal!

First of all, don’t be misled by the glittery pink cover: SUGAR DADDY is far from cute fluff. And second, be forewarned that this is the first part of a trilogy, and it ends in a cliffhanger. Sela Halstead has never forgotten that her life was nearly completely ruined when she was brutally raped ten years ago, on her sixteenth birthday. She copes, she is in university, but she cannot forget, and who could. One day, she sees a report on a website dedicated to older men looking for young women, and vice-versa: The Sugar Bowl, but what really catches her attention is one of the owners: he has the red phoenix tattoo that one of her attackers had! At last, she will have her revenge, she now knows who to look for, Jonathon Townsend, one of her three rapists. She will kill him. In order to do so, Sela pretends to be a Sugar Baby looking for a Sugar Daddy and puts her profile on The Sugar Bowl, and undergoes a makeover. She goes to a soirée organised by the site, tries to coddle to JT – as Jonathon Townsend is known – to no avail; Sela’s new persona doesn’t appeal to him. However it does to the other co-owner, Beck North; she is exactly his type. Beck will be Sela’s way to get to JT: Infiltrate. Murder. Repeat. SUGAR DADDY is one amazing story! It’s a very original story, with exceptionally fascinating characters, and Ms. Bennett’s superlative writing as expected. Because of her horrendous ordeal, I could totally identify with Sela, even though she does resort to rather unorthodox methods. Jonathon is really revolting, but in an unfortunately very believable way. Beck is a very nice guy, but somewhat blind to what Jonathon is really like; they have been friends for ages, but Jonathon slowly is showing his true colours. I loved the tension, how the relationship between Sela and Beck evolved, how being together changed them as well, but still being to feel how conflicted Sela is: she has finally found someone she cares for, but it started with a lie. And it seriously complicate matters that she is falling for Beck, and while he has never been in a relationship before, Sela makes him rethink his stand on the matter. And the more I read, the more I hated JT! SUGAR DADDY is totally compelling from page one, with sizzling sex scenes, but best of all is the extraordinarily complexity of the situation, of Sela’s dilemma, and how masterfully Sawyer Bennett handles it all. What could have been a somewhat depressing and unpleasant subject is not in the capable hands of such a talented author. Ms. Bennett never ceases to astonish me, and never so much as in SUGAR DADDY! I hate cliffhangers… and I want the next book right now! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Review: Sugar Bowl 1: Sugar Daddy

Sugar Daddy by Sawyer Bennett is the first book in her new Sugar Bowl trilogy. It is a bit different from what I am used to from her. The background of Sela is heartbreaking and her lust for revenge is a little shocking but also totally expected and warranted. The bond that grows between Sela and Beck is beautiful and heartwarming but will Sela's need for revenge be the thing that breaks them? I don't know that is why I am IMPATIENTLY awaiting the release of book two, Sugar Rush. Sawyer is a definite go-to author for me and I loved every word, page, chapter of this book (even the jaw-dropping cliffhanger!!).

    Sugar Daddy

Oh my God! What the hell. I need the next book. What happens I need to know. So good, so sad. I hope she gets justice.
