  • Summer at Lochguard

The whole gang (almost) One of my favorite things about a series is visiting characters from previous books I have come to love. This one is the best of the best! So many amazing characters and how their lives are going now makes this right up on top. I don't know how the author managed to get so much about their lives in this shorter format. There is one consistent problem with all of the leaders and their mates. The solution is cute and smart but will it be a fix for them all? Enjoy reading to find out the fix and if the gathering is a success. For me, this will go in my re-read stack for sure.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Clan Gatherings are so much fun!

Summer At Lochguard Dragon Clan Gatherings #1 Jessie Donovan Lochguard had won the right to Host the first UK and Irish Clan Gathering. It was Summertime, a week-long get together was planned for Clan Leaders to relax with their mates, a time to meet and get to know the other UK Clan Leadership. Arabella stood next to Finn waiting for their visitors to show up. She fretted and let her mind wander. Being a Hostess to a group was not her ideal, but she would do it well, regardless! Being the Mother of triplets was not normally easy, especially when Freya began shifting early, well it set a unique family tone. Now she was again pregnant, surprise yet had been searching for the right time and way to break the news to Finn. The Clan Gathering took precedence and Arabella really dreaded all the extra visitors and meetings! She much preferred to be left to her own devices! They were waiting for Asher King and Honoria Wakeham Co-Clan Leaders from Skyhunter. Aimee King, Asher’s sister, had been sent to foster with Lochguard and recover from the imprisonment she had suffered under SkyHunters previous Clan leader. Aimee had come a long way, but Arabella was worried about her first seeing her brother Asher again. It weighed on Arabella heavily. How would Aimee act when she saw Asher again after so long? How would Asher act when he heard about Aimee’s “friend” ? So many unanswered questions! There were others from the Irish Clans too! Lorcan Todd and Caitlan O’Shea-Todd from Northcastle had come and they had some really exciting “news” to share! The Todd’s were really looking forward to spending time with Teagan O’Shea-Caruso and Aaron Caruso from Glenlough. Just getting Teagan to leave the Glenlough was a big coupe in itself! Clan leaders really did not like to their Clans! Stonefire clan leaders Bram Moore-Llewellyn and Evie Marshall and their children, were there too, in the thick of it! Rhydian and Delaney Griffiths from Snowridge with her nephew Rian had come, and there were others! It was Mom’s, Dad’s, and children, meeting and getting to know one another! Getting re-acquainted with other UK clans. Mom’s shared stories about their children and Dad’s about how not to be too “overprotective” regarding their mates! Clan families at their best! Lochguard had gone all out to show off their Clan! Everyone learned a lot and previous friendships were strengthened! Even Clan leaders needed some time off! But like any Jessie Donovan story, when you put more than one dragon shifter with another, something was bound to happen! You will just have to get the book to find out what that was! I was given and ARC but the Review is all mine and freely given.
