    A sweet, clean romance

When Sunny finds Ben hanging upside down in his crashed Cessna, it heralds a new beginning for both the Navajo reservation doctor and the ex-military hero and the East Coast city boy. The romance in Sunny's Smile is slow moving and clean, but appears to take second place to the educational nature of this book. I found the customs and background to the Navajo people interesting as well as living conditions in an extreme environment. Water is a commodity that we take so for granted in our lives, that we forget there are people around the world who don't have that privilege. I enjoyed the sense of community depicted in this book as well as the value system portrayed, in that money took second place to preserving a lifestyle and building relationships. I did find a number of passages very repetitive and felt that the suspenseful side of the story could have been played up a bit more. Nevertheless the book ends well and leaves the reader feeling satisfied. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
